Well, may I remind that the Messenger said that illustrations will remind you too much of the world.
However we are also said by the the Messenger that it's pretty much okay to hear false stories.
The important thing is that there's no god but God, and you know the rest ('the Praised One is His Messenger'). God have approved peaceful life as the way of living for all humans.
