So is Itachi really dead?!
Question: After reading the lastest chapter of Naruto I knida think he is. But if anyone knows anything of has and guesses on what wiill happen i would like to hear them. I hope he isiant dead, now that i think of it all of the most popular character in nartuo have died Gaara, Deidara, and now maybe Itachi come on Naruto you're breaking my already broken heart.

Meh, he probably isn't dead, just extremely exhausted. Major characters in Naruto rarely die, even Gaara managed to wriggle his way out of death....^_^

yeah, Tobi re-confirmed it for the readers.. and there is even a discussion in the Naruto-tachi after that, about the wound inflicted on Itachi(by Naruto) that actually helps in killing him..

He might not be. Zetsu has a feeling he's not. It might just show flashbacks in the next manga and he will force himself alive.

Everybody's saying he is but I don't believe we'll be rid of him that easily. After all he's an important plot device involving Sasuke. He fell over but so did Sasuke. I think we'll have to endure more flashbacks from him at the very least and a stupid speech. Nobody is ever allowed to die without stupid speeches being made.

He is dying, but i think he is not completly dead yet.
I believe he is dead, but then again it makes you think. Why would they kill off Itachi? He was one of the best characters on Naruto. If he is I'm glad he didn't lose his fight with Sasuke purposely. Itachi was coughing up blood and wasn't trying to dodge Sasuke's attacks. I hope this answered your question.
