Has Gaara ever actually buried his head in sand?!

Question: That report about that boy dying is so sad and scary.

Answers: That report about that boy dying is so sad and scary.

No, Gaara has never buried his head in sand.

However he does control sand, and that one time when he took on the form of Shukaku during the Chuunin Exams, sand was falling over his face. Other than that, Gaara engulfed himself in a shield of sand when he using his 'absolute defence'. But he never actually stuck his head in sand.

I agree, the news was really shocking!
> I would never have believed it if I didn't actually see the news report. What I'm really disappointed about is how so many parents are blaming Naruto for the misfortune of the child. The child was only ten, he shouldn't have been watching Naruto and the parents should know that too. Plus the parents should have been supervising the children -- the child asked his friends to bury him in sand.... **Sigh** Poor family, it's a real tragedy.

[Edit] No problem, it's just the truth about how I feel.

oh did he when was that??

I don't think so...I think he eats sand though ^w^

What article lol

That never happens. I think the kid has misunderstood, what Gaara had being doing because that had never happened. Gaara does control the sand to an extent,of where he would use it has his shield, and weapon, but nothing like that. The only really other time,I guess you could that happen was between the fight with Gaara,Naruto. As Gaara was going o transform into the sand demon, even though the sand does, cover his body it,he never actually sticks his head into the sand.

Naruto Rocks!!!!!

i think that kid is just plain baka!

I think that, as a ten-year-old boy, he should have known better. Still, I don't blame the show, because the only time I ever saw him bury himself in sand was for that 'ultimate defense' of his, and that wasn't even close to burying his head in a sandbox. My guess is that the child was watching animal planet, then toonami, and got the idea that ostrich+Gaara=fun.

Like I said earlier its very sad I will prey for the family

But I did not know the show was called Naruto Sand Ninjas

Gaara has been surrounded by sand, has sand coming at his opponents in a wave that made it look like he was being covered in sand, and has had sand falling down his face but he never buried his head in sand. That news report is sad however even if that boy thought that Gaara had buried his head in sand he's still just an anime character not a real person. The boy apparently didn't realize that the Naruto anime isn't real (no matter how much some certain people on here want it to be *coughs* everyone *coughs*). Maybe this could have been prevented if he was told how some things on tv are real while some aren't.
