Is Godzilla 1985 the one where they trick him into falling into the volcano at the end. That is the only movie that has ever made me cry (i was a kid when I watched it).
There are currently no plans to release Godzilla 1985 or The Return of Godzilla on Region 1 DVD from Lakeshore Entertainment. This film is able to be purchased on DVD but only in Japanese from Japan which they have made this 1991 VHS release into DVD format. It is recorded in Japanese dialogue but has English subtitles if needed. This also applies to Godzilla vs. Biollante.
Whether or not the release of Godzilla 3-D will help pique interest for DVD release for either film is debatable among fans.
