Yes, Deidara did die in the manga.
He dies in chapter 362, when he's fighting Sasuke. He blows himself up by feeding the mouth, on his chest, clay. He can only do it once but if he uses it, the bomb will destroy everything on a 10 km radius. So he tries to kill Sasuke by killing himself, but fails. Sasuke's still alive... >.<

Yes,he will die by filling amouth on his chest with mud or something,he tried to kill Sasuke by explosion but this attacking returned and killed him instead of Sasuke,then Sasuke summoned Manda but it died from the explosion but Sasuke still alive.
