Rurouni Kenshin is a classic series, despite the third filler filled arc. We also got a masterpiece of an OVA from it, Samurai X: Tsuiokuhen (Trust and Betrayal).
Bleach is a really popular series that I enjoy a lot. The first movie was great, but no where near the quality of Samurai X. Overall, it seems to have gone up and down a lot. It has more fillers, and some people suggest it may turn to another long arc of them really soon.
This is sort of tough, but Rurouni Kenshin has stood the test of time as a classic. I can't say the same about Bleach though. I have enjoyed both equally

Bleach is better... it has over 150 episode and the story is way better and it has two good movies. one of which is kinda sad but very good.. rurouni kensishin has good story too but not as much action. it has about 95 episodes with a few ova's and movies.
