Is the MTV Aeon Flux Anime any good?!

Question: My local video store is clearing out their PSP inventory and I spot an Aeon Flux Collector's anime PSP video for $11.99

There are only 10 episodes in the series by Peter Chung. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is good or not.

I have seen Peter Chung's other animes such as REIGN: the Conquerer. Also is it similiar to the live action move Aeon Flux, because I sort of hated the story for that one.

YES!!! OMG! I used to watch it ALL the time, you have to see it! I love that show, look at my profiles I always add it in my faves. It is nothing like the movie. Peter Chung hated the movie because it was not like his Aeon flux, I say "his" because the movie producers did not let him see the script or have any say in the movie's creation! In the cartoon, she dies every in every episode, it never ends well or happy. It is so amazing, creepy, sexy and surreal.

Thank you. :) Report It

  • It is nothing like the movie. Aeon Flux fans hated that movie. The cartoon is excellent if you like surreal, somewhat philosophical, dystopian sci-fi.

It's not an anime, I'm afraid, but it does appear to have anime influences. It is more similar to a Western comic book style.

I dont like u might watch a episode online then u can see if u like it

EDIT:I did not meand i dont like u i meant i dont like it

I'll tell you what....I used to watch it on Liquid Television in the 90's, and now have dvd's. I always loved the sleek sexiness of Aeon, and the cool espionage tinge on the series. I love it. Spark up and pop it in! ;)

The hidden sexuality of the movie Aeon flux (παντοτιν? υγρ?) captured my eyes. :)
