Naruto is pretty much an average guy who is possessed by a fox demon but he just wants to be the best ninja. Mostly so that he will be acknowledged for some importance or rather friendship in his home country (since everyone thinks he a super, hyperactive knuckle head= which he is). So the manga centers on his pursuit to be a ninja and friends he makes. Currently in the manga, he is trying to save his friend which turns out to be a way too difficult situation.
MUST CHECK OUT: Full Metal Panic, Bleach, Vampire Knight (not anime till April 7th), Ouran High School Host Club, Fruits Basket

Its not on tv now but when it is watch it is about this young golden haired boy that gets sent to a boy named kiyo takamine from his dad and when kiyo reads from the red book that came with zatch bell he shoots lighting from his mouth so ya
