depends the age i suggest that if its a boy then maybe Ben ten or if you want why not ask your child what its favorite cartoon. but dont make it obvious if its a suprise birthday and if its for a girl than i suggest a barbie kind of thing or Dora (if in to)

Spongebob is still popular. My kids however are still in love with Mucha Lucha even though it doesn't come on anymore.
