Anybody know this cartoon?!
Question: Okay, I'm trying to remember the name of this cartoon. It was back in the 90s. It was set in pre-historic times. There was a mom, dad, lil boy, I think a lil girl too. I remember the dad wore some type of animal clothing and I assume the others did too. They had a pterodactyl and a three-horn? that shot some black ball things out of its head (like cannon balls only smaller). They also had these....blobs. There was a big blob and a little one, they were yellow-ish and they could stretch..I have no idea what they're called. So, like the family used to fight 'bad guys' or something and the dinosaurs helped...I think. I don't really remember. I know I loved the to watch it when I was little..but I have no idea what it's called. Anybody know the name of this cartoon?

Sure sounds like 'The Herculoids' to me...one of my favorites!
It's originally from the late 60's but I know they brought it back for a while in the 80's-90's and still show reruns on Boomerang.
Gloop and Gleep were the blobs
Igoo was a giant Rock Ape
Zok was the flying dragon
Tundro was the 'modified triceratops'
there was no little girl, but the boy was Dorno
Zandor was Dad
Tarra was Mom
do a youtube search for Herculoids I'm sure you'll find something!
BTW; it wasn't set on Earth in prehistoric times, because I remember the intro to the show and the guy would say "Somewhere out in space live The Herculoids"!
