As someone said it could be instinct, a large object thrown causes anyone to flinch, but I would rather think it was probably that he was dodging to get closer to the bad guys for something, usually to stop them.
no i guess he didnt want to get hit. i mean do you want to get hit even though you are bullet proof your still getting hit. like if a feather landed on your head wouldnt you blow it away it is annyoing.
