Ughh..I need som recommendations for anime?!
Question: Can anyone recommend me an anime series
-Not to popular (no popculture ones, Bleach, Naruto, OHSHC, etc.).
-I enjoy any thing of action, comedy, drama, parody, romance, and occasionally scifi and mecha (but unless it has comedy or not boring)
-I don't like pervert series, a guy surrounded by girls, high school drama, vampires, boring series
-I enjoy a series with likable relatable characters, strong women is always a plus
-I am 17, no CCS please (or Tsubasa, I don't like that series)
-No really girly, or manly ones...No DBZ or Peach Girl
-Blood is ok (I <3 Baccano!)
-Please recommend any obscure, nonpopular, nonpop culture, or underestimated series, but I still want to find fans of the series (so not too unpopular, if you can).
-If it's too unpopular...I can handle it

Full Moon wo Sagashite
Very powerful female character.
Some comedy, very romantic, very touching. (It made me cry like crazy)
It's kind of girly, but not super cutesy.
It recently got dubbed into English but I never watched in English.
There is a lot of singing and music...so I have no idea if they translated it or not.
The music is amazing by the way!
I consider it a masterpiece.
Also:
Hunter X Hunter.
Never got dubbed into English (but almost every other language). Not girly but not manly. Not much blood. Very very loveable characters, but not many strong women...most characters are male. Not perverted.
Very funny moments, but also has it's touching moments.

I didn't see either of them mentioned by anyone else, even in your previous questions asking for recommendations. If Full Moon is too girly then go with Hunter x Hunter. They are both very good and many people have not seen HxH because it hasn't been translated (dubbed) into English...(but there is English manga).
(By the way, these might be my two favorite shows of all time)
You could try Denno Coil, it's a great sci-fi drama, that doesn't really rely too much on the sci-fi aspect. Denno Coil has a very cool concept that I think makes it very interesting. It may take a few episodes for it to get going, but after that it gets better and better. It has one of the best endings I've ever seen.

Fantasy action, adventure anime about a female warrior who is given the task of protecting a prince, whose own father is trying to have him killed because of a mysterious spirit that lays inside him. It's really awesome, just watch the first couple episodes. ^^

I've watched over 50 different anime series in both english and japanese and these are the best ive seen so far in my opinion. The links that I give you are english dubbed and have links to were you can watch the series I would definitely recommend melancholy or samurai champloo
"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" - about a girl who, unknown to her, possesses the power to change reality. Its a fun mind twister that will have you thinking from the beginning episode all the way to the end!It is on the top ten of most popular anime in japan.

"Death Note" - If you havn't seen this whole series already or are in the process of finishing the sereis you need to slap youself in the face get onto you tube or veoh and watch this series. It is By far one of the most intriging, exiting, and heart wrenching anime series that has been created so far. It is a Mystery/thriller/deceptive/awesome type of film that has no combat yet stands up to and even overshadows popular shows like naruto and bleach. It's conflict throughout the whole series is completly mental and not only does it challenge the characters in the story mentally but the watcher also. It is number one on all the charts for best anime tv shows is extremly popular. This is a definate must see series for ALL anime fans.

"Samuri X"-Action packed story about the makeing of the legendary warrior Ruroni Kenshin. Is full of excitment, action and drama that lasts the whole series #1 of the most popular anime shows in japan
"cowboy bebop" - is an american origiated anime show that is about the wild adventures of a space bounty hunter named spike. Its a widely popular anime that premired on adult swim of cartoon network and was an immeditate success.I like this anime because it has a certain wild improving storyline much like another one of my favorites "samuri shamploo".
"Mushi shi"Have only seen the first episode and it was pretty good. also a very popular anime show in japan and is on the top ten.
"Ruroni Kenshin" - Possibly THE most popular samuri based anime show ever and as always, for good reasons. It has a ok storyline with a great mix of action, romance, and humor. This is surly a show that will have you rushing to see the next episode. With its epilouge being The most popular OVA in japan you can only expect great things from this show, and beleive me your expectations will not be disappointed
"Yu-Yu-Hakasho"- show is about a teenage boy who dies saving the life of a young child and is givin a second chance at life as a spirit detective. As a spirit detective the boy must fight evil demons to prevent them from flooding into the human world and ending humanity as we know it. Very good show that has very good character developent in all of the characters which allows the series to be longer while still retaining its excitment and splendor.
"Eureka Seven"-If you like romances with plenty of action this is the definite show for you and probably the best i have ever seen(in terms of action/romance). It's about a young boy (Renton) that falls in love with a mysterious girl that he meets one day when her and her rebel leader have landed to get reparations on their ships. Its a really cool show inspired by modern day surfing(and it dosn't get much cooler that surfing). Good series that keeps the fun going throughout the series. Best romance series ever!!!

"Samuri champloo"- One of my personal favorites and for very good reasons. To start with it is one of the most uniqe types of anime i have ever seen by mixing western hiphop culture into traditional japanese samuri culture coming out with something new to the anime world. It has in my opinion some of the best fighting seens that i have ever seen and even with that it retains its humor and its elegance. It dosnt have a perfect storyline but it adds to the effect that everyting in this anime is improvised. Samuri champloo is most definetly my most recomended.But would also like to say that it is for mature audiences (the official suggested age being 14 and up) do to strong language, and violence
