Another question mentioned about this crime.
I think whoever did this crime is out of their mind. I do think revenge is the possible reason for killing these people. Is it possible that the killer even touch the victim using gloves. I know it would be easy to take finger prints from the note, but did they actually did it?
The murderer is nuts, and wanted to ultimate revenge against the people he killed. Since, no kind of crime was committed after this, it couldn't be a serial killer or a mass murderer.

I think that someone simply typed this in Wikipedia to make people think it's real. I highly doubt this is true and the person who typed it probably just got the idea by connecting events that had little to no connection with each other. Oh and if you don't agree with then since L is dead try calling Near. Kira killed usually using heart attacks so if this really happened and was connected with Death Note then the killer would kill his victims by inducing heart attacks.

i mean it's only an anime, why would people take it so far?
