Answers: plz tell me exactly what doest it means ?

From "Berserker" : In pre-Medieval and Medieval Norse and Germanic history and folklore, this word was used to signify any member of the unruly warrior gangs which worshiped Odin and attached themselves to royal and noble courts as bodyguards and shock troops. They raped and murdered at will in their host communities. Their savagery in battle and animal-skin attire (they are also said to have fought naked) contributed to the development of the werewolf legend in Europe.

Berserk : Destructively or frenetically violent. Mentally or emotionally upset. Deranged. Unrestrained enthusiasm or appetite. Wild.

Berserk : When we say that a person is going berserk, we may not realize just how extreme a state this might be. Our word comes from "Berserker" (berserk) which is from the Old Norse word "Berserkr" (a wild warrior or champion). Such warriors wore the hides of bears which explains the probable origin of the word. Bera > bear and Serkr > shirt or coat. The Berserkers would become frenzied in battle. They howled like animals, foamed at the mouth, and bit the edges of their iron shields. The word "Berserker" is first recorded in English in the early 19th century (long after these wild warriors ceased to exist).
