Come on Death Note FTW. Bleach is ok but god Death Note is way better. And some of u no offence complication in an anime is awsome. it makes u think while bleach it doesnt really have a story line and the power levels in that show is so messed up. Death Note always keeps u guessing and keeps u on the edge of ur seat and u try to guess wats gonna happen next and ur r wrong most of the time. saying u dont like the show b/c its complicated is not a very good reason
Bleach!... Death Note's okay, it gets kinda boring at times though.
Death Note. It's just overall better. The plot, the characters, the art, the sound...and hello! Matt. Mello. Near. L. For some crazy psychotic idiots, Raito. And honestly, I'd rather watch some sick-in-the-head seventeen-year-old make a pathetic attempt at playing superhero than...than...whatever Ichigo does in Bleck.
EDIT: In addition, Death Note questions morality. It's controversial, and it gives people something to debate over. It's not really that complicated.

i watched few episodes of Death Note and i didn't like it. Too complicated. Bleach is much better.

I like Bleach better, for lots of reasons including: I like the moral of the story better (fight for your friends and family vs. kill people thinking you're God),
the action is better in Bleach (no sword fighting in Deathnote),
there are more truly funny moments in Bleach (such as anytime that Yuroichi changes from her cat form to her human form in front of Ichigo)
Death Note, I wish i had a Death God jus hanging out with me all the time and only i could hear and see it......... Yeah that would rock .
I never saw 'Death Note" as yet so i'm going to hve to go with 'Bleach'!! Sorry!!

Wow, it's hard to even compare the two, I think. They might both shounen but they're totally different aside from the Shinigami presence!
That aside, Death Note is the best for me! I like the balance of realism & surrealism in DN. The characters are also better overall, imo. <3

BLEACH!!! because it's easier to pick up on from the middle (i have experience trying to understand both bleach and death note from the middle. i started watching bleach the episode where Kon comes in, and didn't watch it regularly for a time, and it was much easier understanding than deathnote. i tried to read the second volume of the deathnote manga and i couldn't make it all the way through.) i can also identify with the bleach charries better.
they are both good animes but still, i prefer bleach..

what!? u cant make me. u cant make me!!!! well if i have to id pick death note because its more addictive and thought provoking. bleach is really great, especially now in the manga but i couldnt stand the fillers.
i watched deathnote but i just pefer Bleach because it has a great story line and it's funny even when it gets to the serious part
