Is there anyone that likes Naruto and Dragonball Z at the same time?!
Question: I don't get this rivalry, why's everyone always praising one but dissing the other? i like both anime.
idc what girls think about dbz cuz unlike Naruto and InuYasha and Fullmetal Alchemist (which i also happen to like) it's an anime meant for just guys! it's a real guys thing like Rambo, it caters our violent tendencies which only guys can understand, yes I know there are girls that like dbz and action and that's cool but at the end of the day, DBZ has no romance or drama or even pretty boys or guys that look like women like Sesshomaru and Sasuke, it's all out action and fighting with real tough guys that look like real men! which is what all guys like to see, we hate bishonen. that's what makes it so good for us guys. so female dbz haters, you have no right to discuss this topic. (no offence)

I like both animes. And I agree with you that DBZ is a guys anime but I am a girl who loves it, you know somethings you just want to see a bunch of guys kicking the crap out of each other for no reason (although DBZ has a reason). I also love Naruto now that I watch the show, before I got into it I refused to watch any episodes because it is nothing but a DBZ rip off.... and it is thats why I love it so much. It's DBZ with ninjas how can you hate it. But I think people like one and not the other because of what it focuses on Naruto is all about friendship and stuff and although DBZ has those elements in it as well its more about fighting and saving earth. I guess thats the main difference between Goku and Naruto. Naruto wants to become great so people will recognize him whereas Goku wants to become strong so he can fight. But anyway I think people should give both a chance before the judge if one is better then the other.

A type of anime only for guys? BAH! I LAFF AT THAT! I'm a chick and I'm proud to say that I love Naruto and DBZ.
DBZ was the first anime i fell in love with and i still love it and vegeta is my fav. character off there hes to freakin hot *love him* i so cryed when when he sacrificed him self to kill boo even though it didnt work lol i even have a dbz blanket it really old and you can hardly tell the characters, and ever time someone once to use it, *grrrrrr bark bark lol* its mine......and naruto is so cool its also one of my favs.
Well, I personally like Dragon Ball better than both. I loved DBZ (I'm a guy) I also liked Naruto, until just after Naruto was trained by Jirahya (Toad Man) I kept forgetting to watch the new episodes, and eventually fell to far behind. Naruto was a good anime, but DBZ is classic. There's just something about its epicness and class. IMO DBZ is better, but Naruto is still pretty good.
I don't know why people compare Dragonball Z and Naruto. To me they're not the same. Dragonball Z they all have different powers and they do martial arts and Naruto is about ninjas. Other then the fact that both have action in them nothing about them is the same. I love Dragonball Z, it's a classic. I think Naruto is a good anime, but it's not really for me. I have nothing against it and it's not because I love Dragonball Z. It's just the way I feel. :) I'd still recommend Naruto to people though, just because it's not for doesn't mean other people don't like it. :) This is just my opinion on it though. Hope I helped. :)
