Question: well, not exactly TOO short ~
but i was doing a research about their heights, and they all seem to be around 5'0'' - 5'4''
well some of them, at least the animes i've watched so far ^^
i know i'm not the tallest one......i'm 5'1''>.<
i like my height though ^_^
and anime boys are like super tall!!!!!!O.o

the girls are supposed to be small and cute and pretty...

Anime is made in Japan and asian people tend to be shorter than a lot of the other races. But still, 5 foot isn't unreasonably short.

It's always so awkward when the girl is like half the guy's height and I can't help thinking she's his little sister or something. It is soo unromantic. The huge height difference is really unattractive.
5'0'' to 5'4'' is perfectly normal for an asian girl but seriously. Those guys look like they're all way over 6 feet tall. How many asian guys do I see at that height?!! Like ZERO. Why do the anime guys have to be giants T__T
That's because Japanese people are not very tall... and many times the place they live is in Japan...
Well not really, because most girls in animes are teenagers not adults. and the adults have average height at least.

No, most anime girls aren't too short when you remember that most of them are 14 years or younger for the most part. Corse it is a little disturbing at how "developed" they tend to make some of the younger anime characters (i.e. pretty sasami, ruri, etc.)

Something to do with most of the Asian's height, I suppose. I mean, it's a hormone issue, and anime mostly comes from Japan, see? No big deal.
I remembered this classmate of mine, a titchy lad, really short lol. And now...man! He's grown really tall over a year!
