Ah the Robocop paradox, why do bad guys not just shoot him in the face? I would say SM ducks because he does not have pockets to carry it in and the small matter of Vanity for him "is that a gun in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?", could compromise his squeaky clean image.
Or it could be he is worried the gun bounces back into the bad guys hands, or he gets tax relief on gun dodging, I will consult my super heroes evasive action manual.
If you havent noticed a gun is bigger then a bullet and was it going for his head, he may be the man of steel but what do you thinks his eyes r made of, aluminium? :)
He vision is based off motion. So he was just shocked to see that big of an object coming at him.

that's true, even Oddjob from Goldfinger didin't duck when Bond threw those gold bars at him. it doesn't make sense.
He's the "man of steal" if it was a women they would use common sence.
nice question. maybe he tries to avoid the gun that is being thrown at him because he hurts a little when hard objects hit him. he may not mind getting hit by bullets because it makes him look "macho" and maybe he thinks he'll look stupid when he allows himself to be him by something less mean than a bullet! ^^
