The Invisibles
Doom Patrol
The Sandman
Don't listen to the manga guys - these graphic novels are what comics are all about - Alan Moore & Neil Gaiman (writers of Watchmen and The Sandman respectively) have won many awards for their imaginative fiction that rivals any novel in inventiveness.
tell us what you like first comedy drama romance?
I started with reading a manga called fruits basket...i guess you could start with that....but if you want comedy i guess skip beat would be the best
If you like romance and comedy, I'd suggest Fruits Basket for starters, or if you like action, I'd suggest InuYasha, Bleach or Naruto. If you like comedy, romance and action rolled into one, I'd suggest Ranma 1/2, this is a very good manga, I loved every second of it. Happy reading! ^_^
Fruits Basket is good. I also like Vampire Knight & Absolute Boyfriend. Zombie Powder is kind of fun and it's only 4 volumes long (I think!). Demon Diary is also good. All the answers preceding mine have great graphic nolve/manga suggestions. There is one series I read a while ago called X-Kai & it's only 2 volumes long. The main character is an assassin and doesn't want to do it anymore. He just doesn't have the heart for killing and wants out of the "business".
you should probably start with oneshots so you don't get bored eaily. if you're a shoujo fan, i suggest you start with you're my girlfriend or a thousand years of snow... onemanga has them...
