Superhero Evolutions- Calling All Geeks!?!

Question: Ok, if you're something of a long-time geek like me, (& maybe if you're old enough), you'll be aware of the various incarnations of our favorite superheroes. For ex: Batman (My fave!) has gone through SEVERAL visual changes from the 1940s to today.

My question is- of your favorite heroes, which visual phase is your favorite?

Mine:

Many of Batman's changes were cool to me, but I like the "Silver Age" version. Flowing, dramatic drawings of the cape:

Somewhere in the 80s, they got rid of (or maybe returned to) the "Without the Yellow Oval" bat on his chest. I didn't like it.

But I also love the current version from 'Batman Begins'. They finally did a Batman movie right. (& the movie Blew away the cartoonish stuff from the 80s & 90s).

The evolution of The Flash from the 30's and 40's to the 50's to now was drastic. He went from looking like Hermes of Greek mythology to being more sleek and dynamic. The solid red was/is one of the coolest costumes in comics. Especially when he is shown running at superspeed.

I liked Frank Miller's Daredevil. Dark and brooding but always the good guy who never crosses the line. A villain like Bullseye and a Femm-Fatale like Elektra really does it.
