Peter's just freakin funny to watch his stupidity and unpredictableness.
Meg - eh, could be better, but still pretty good.
The mom (forgot the name) - Adds a lot of one-liners to help make other jokes a lot funnier, often.
Chris - Kinda like Meg, but better.
Brian (the dog) - Also freakin hilarious, and also another great role model for every human being (oddly enough, since he's a dog....)
Quag, the black guy, and the wheelchair guy - AWWWESOME, all in their own ways.
Just freakin awesome. Their spontaniousness and randomness makes each of their jokes 10X better, cuz you don't see them coming.
And the show is sooooo contraversial, that I don't have a clue how they get away saying half the things they do. It makes you laugh your *** off, until you realize you're probably a bad person for laughing at that joke.....then you continue laughing after a vain attempt to stop.

Goldfish - Totally nothing.
Alien - Almost totally nothing.
Daughter - Sorta funny.
The son - Sometimes funny.
The dad - pretty funny. But he can't carry the whole show.

Family Guy. I don't find American Dad to be funny. It's shocking that both cartoons are created by the same person.
I use to like Family Guy more. But American Dad is newer and fresher. On Family Guy it seem like they are just recycling jokes. Anyway Futurama better than both of them. Bender is the greatest. lol
since both are creations of seth mcfarlance i can care less, though i'm not a stupid bandwaggoner i've been a loyal fan for both shows.
