Question: I *think* that has been confirmed. I'm not exactly sure about the 8th but I'm fairly certain it's in April 08.

Yup season 2 is confirmed. It's starting April 6th this year:

According to the fansub Wiki (http://www.fansubwiki.com/Who_Subs_What:... ) Shinsen and Menclave (I still don't really get this, I think it's just Mendoi not Conclave) are planning on subbing this.

I don't play games so probably not. But I'm definitely watching R2.

It's possible Shinsen might sub season 2 since they did sub part of the first season but dropped it later. I've been checking Menclave's site for Shigofumi lately, but I never saw any real announcement saying that they plan on subbing R2. This is the closest I've seen (look at comments):

I guess it's a possibility though, since Gundam 00 and Shigofumi are their only projects other than the Tsubasa OVA and ef is already finished. Hopefully they will sub R2 though, I like their subs for Shigofumi and ef.

lol I'm one of those guilty for being hyped for VK. I'd rather see SDC get animated, though it'll probably get butchered so on second thought maybe not. Spring's definitely going to be amazing though with R2, VK, S.A., Itazura na Kiss, and another season of xxxHOLiC.
I think Shirley lives, since she's in the promos I've watched for the new season. I wonder how the cliffhanger'll be resolved though. There seems to be plenty of people that want Suzaku to die.

Me too, I'd love to see R2 get oversubbed. Sure it makes choosing which subs to watch harder but it's better than watching it raw and trying to figure out what's going on. xD But seriously, 6 groups planning on subbing VK? I pretty sure Conclave and Animanda have offically said they're subbing VK since I checked their sites, not sure about the others though.

Wow I never thought of that. Zero from VK and from Code Geass are some of my favorite characters. I have to agree now that I think about it, Zeros ftw!
Yeah people say CLAMP character designs are all noodle people, but I actually like them. And Syaoran > Suzaku.
