New Season of Samurai Champloo?!
Question: This question has probably been asked a million times, but does anyone know for sure if there isn't going to be a new season of Samurai Champloo? I just recently began watch it, and now I'm obsessed. It just makes me really sad to think that there will only ever be 26 episodes. I've looked around the internet for information about it, but I've only heard mixed things ( some saying that there will be another season and some saying that there won't be). With the way they ended it it seems that there could easily be another season or atleast a movie..

"In 2004, in his interview for the Champloo Roman Album, Watanabe was asked the question, "Will you do a movie?" His reply: "I have no plans to. The series ended in a way that kept it open to a sequel, but I don't know if that would be a good thing or not. There is no reason to create a sequel unless it's more interesting than the original. Though I won't rule it out."
