She is unique. I believe she was designed this way intentionally for the children who don't fit the mold.

Alot of people think she is a ladybug. Some an ant. But like her name, Uniqua is her own unique species.
I don't think they've ever specified...isn't the saying about her that she is "as unique as her name"?
Do you remember the old toys Wuzzles...they were like 2 things in one. She is kind of like a bug/hippo. I also believe that she is from the African -American descent.
