Naruto- His attitude inspires all and he is full of energy, He is awesome
Saukra- In the beginning she is very weak but in Shippuuden she is actually tolerable. She not my favorite but i do like her
Sasuke- Emo traitor I don't see how any one could like some one who would abandon their friends to be with some creepy old guy
Lee- One of my favorite character. Between his determination, optimism and great smile what's not to love
Neji- At first I really hated him. He was a cold emotionless a** but he kinda grew on me after Naruto kick his a**
Tenten- I don't really know much about her since I skipped most of the fillers but from what I could tell she seems fairly nice
Kiba- I love him. He is so funny and I also love Akamaru. They are so adorable together
Hinata- She is awesome. I love her undying love for Naruto and how she always faints but when she tries she can kick major ****
Shino- The episode with him laughing was the greatest filler I have ever seen, ok its one of the few I have seen but still. Shino is an awesome Character even though I can't really watch him fight up close.... I do not like bugs
Gaara- How on earth can anyone hate Gaara? He is the sexiest man on the show (next to Kakashi and Lee) I loved him from the moment he threatened to kill Kankurou. He is such a powerful ninja and a bad a** as well. Even when he turned good I still loved him
Kankourou- I like Kankurou he's a funny guys, maybe not my favorite but I still like him
Temari- My favorite Female Character. She is so awesome and her fighting skills are amazing.
Ino- I don't really like her as much as the others, I'm sorta neutral about her
Chouji- He is like a big Teddy Bear you want to squeeze. Not only is he adorable but he can fight as well
Shikamaru- Gotta love the Lazy Genius. I love every thing about him, his laziness, his brains, his fighting and his looks.
you should add the teachers to the list as well to see what people think of them like Kakashi, Iruka, Gai, Asuma, Kurenai and if you want to include him Orochimaru (he was Sasuke's teacher) Also you are lacking in the Villains department i.e. The Akatsuki

Naruto is growing stronger and stronger. He's gonna end up kicking sasuke's *** if he has to in order to bring him back.
Sakura's a decent ninja, much better in part 2.

Shikamaru is the most clever of all Genins in Naruto... he's very good at leading teams and planning strategos.
Sasuke on the other hand has a balance of Smartness and Power which ROCKS!
Lee has the passion... well everyone falls in love with his passion right?
Tsunade i think is my favorite since she is the current Hokage though she doesn't have much techniques.
Naruto- He's cool. I love the fact that he never gives up and always tries his hardest in everything he does.
Sakura-She's my favorite character in the series and I feel that people underestimate her a lot of the time.
Sasuke- He used to be all cool except after he left the village and after a couple of seasons I got seriously fed up with him and his REVENGE plans.
Lee-Love his taijutsu and he also has a similar personality to Naruto's in the way that he never gives up.
Neji- I didn't like him when I first started watching the show but he's grown on me.
Tenten- I think that she is awesome and deserves more screen time.
Kiba-He's ok. I love Akamaru though!
Hinata-She's just a sweetheart and I wish she'd tell Naruto she likes him already!
Shino- He scares me (in a GOOD way though)
Gaara-Can not be defeated by anyone or anything, thus making him cool.
Kankurou-I'm not his biggest fan.
Temari-Proably one of the stronger girls out of the ones you listed. I love her big fan!!
Ino-Her mind transfer jutsu is cool, she however is blah

Naruto - it's amazing to see the person he grew up to be. He's still impulsive and stupid sometimes but he is such a strong, complex character! I love him.
Sakura - I think she's kind of boring. She used to have that other personality that was really funny, but now... yes, she's a medical ninja and all that stuff, but she's so simple...
Sasuke - I have a thing for characters with a sad story, just like Sasuke, but I think they didn't make him as layered as he should be. There should be more inner conflicts, more doubts.
Lee - what happened to him? He's so funny! I simply can't take him seriously as a character, but he is really fun to watch.
Neji - he is one of my favourite characters. Love his tortured past, love the idea that he tried and changed his fate. He seems both strong and in need of some care, just makes me want to hug him!
Tenten - boooooriiiing! She could be so much more!
Kiba - just like Lee, I whished he'd appear in more of the shipuunden episodes. I think he has really grown up and become more mature.
Hinata - when I say Sakura should have more layers I mean for a main character she should, Hinata is secondary and has a lot more depth. She's really cute and shy but I think she is also very strong inside.
Shino - a bit of a mistery, I think. I like him, but am not really sure what to think.
Gaara - he's my favourite character! He's strong, powerful, smart, but also fragile. He has this really sad story that make me want to hug and protect him although I know he is also ver very strong. But more than this he had to learn to be who he is now, he had to mature and evolve, which makes him very human.
Kankurou - never really caught my attencion. I sometimes don't care about some characters without any particular reason. I just think he's there to show cool fighting skills, although when Gaara was kidnapped we saw a bit more of Kankourou.
Temari - almost the same as with her older brother. I whish she and Shikamaru would get together at last, they're so cute together.
Ino - annoying. Such an annoying character! I'm still waiting to see if she has finally developped a personality.
Chouji - I like Chouji. He seems nice. Maybe it's cause he's fat, I don't know. He is also very funny, but can be serious and reliable when people are counting on him.
Shikamaru - he's also one of my favourite characters. Love the fact that he fights with brains, not muscles. Love the fact that he's lazy but most of all love his maturity and his relationship with Temari. When will they get together at last?

Okay, I'm gonna start with my number 1. I like Shikamaru, but it's because we have the same personality. I'm not the one that came up with that, someone said, which naruto character do you like, and I said Shikamaru, then I got on my horse in a strange saddle and said "these stirrups are too short, but I'm too lazy to fix them" and she said "whoa...you're JUST like Shikamaru!" (*sigh*) it's happened the same way 4 times since then, about 300 people call me that now, and about a half of them don't even know my real name. now they think I look like him too. it's (and I have no other word for this) troublesome. But that's why I like Shikamaru, we're very similar, including the very smart and sleeping through class thing, he reminds me freakishly of myself.
-okay, naruto? he's entertaining and a good friend, but he's very loud and energetic...
-Sakura? I think she's a little too clingy, and her american voice actor is annoying
-Sasuke? I don't like sasuke, he's overrated and his hair looks like a duck but.
-lee? I know a girl just like him (she calls me shikamaru, go figure), and she's always nagging me "come on! let's run!" and so on. I like lee, but he's a little too energetic.
-neji? I think he's a little stuck-up in the beginning, but he grows on you, and he has very good techniques.
-tenten? She'd be a cool character if they gave her a decent role to play
-kiba? I like kiba a lot, I like his willingness and his confidence. A little rude and arrogant in the beginning, but he's a good guy
-hinata? she's cute, and I like her because she's sweet, once she gets over her whimpiness in the beginning, she's pretty cool
-shino? I'm not so sure what I think of shino, I guess he's okay, but he hasn't made a particuarly significant impact on me, but he does have a good heart
-gaara? I didn't like him in the beginning, he creeped me out, but once he becomes good, then I really start to like him. his english VA isn't so great though.
-kankourou? he's okay...I like his strange relationship with his siblings, but he's strange, and his make-up is purple...who'd go through that much trouble in the morning anyway?
-temari? I like temari, she's a very strong character, and her fan is cool. out of the shikamaru pairings, she's my favorite, she saves him frequently and gets along with him well without being troublesome. she has good devotion to her village.
-ino? eh...she's troublesome, but an interesting character. she adds a good flavor to the anime and balances out the character list well.
-chouji? I love chouji, he is a very very good friend and is willing to give his life for his friends. besides, he likes food, that's reason enough to like him.
-shikamaru? I already expressed my thoughts on that. he reminds me of me, my dad is also exactly like shikamaru's and so is my mom.
so, you may ask, why am I writing this long thing if I'm so lazy? simple a) I'm bored and b) I'm avoiding writing my paper, I want to play mastermind.
