A oneshot manga is a "stand alone" manga. Meaning that it starts at volume one, and also ends at volume one. Most mangas are series though, lol.
An example of a oneshot manga would be 7 Period is a Secret. One volume. Begins and ends at volume one, unfortuanetly.

I'm pretty sure it's manga with just one volume
one-shot is used to denote a pilot comic or a stand-alone story created to last as one issue.
simple its only one volume story is short no more issues
it doesnt have more then one volume or chapter
