Did you ever notice that anime haters that love cartoons......?!
Question: .....always say they hate anime cuz they hate the big the eyes?
and cartoon characters have:
-small ugly eyes
-big heads shaped like giant potatoes and are bigger than their chests
-4 fingers on each hand (3 fingers and 1 thumb if u try to be a smartass)
-big noses
simpsons and south park characters have big eyes! anime only have big eyes and normal-shaped bodies, and Asians do have spiky hair, cartoon characters are completely deformed.

I couldn't have said it better myself...YOU are ABSOLUTELY correct. Animes are a 10000000000000x cooler than cartoons, and animes can get people addicted to it much easier. And people who are addicted to Anime stay addicted to Anime.
Heyyyyy, you're right! You are absolutely, positively right! Personally, I looove the big eyes. I have a thing with poorly animated shows, which explains why I hate the Simpsons and Jimmy Neutron. (Seriously- everyone there look like bobbleheads, as big as their craniums are. *ugh*)
See, now you've made me realize how terrible some American animation really is! Man, now I'm going to go watch shows ans duper-analyze it, saying/thinking stuff like "Her eyes are too small." or "His head is too big" et cetera, et cetera. Oh, well.

P.S. Have you noticed that in anime, as opposed to their Western counterparts who have big noses, the characters have teeny-tiny noses, and sometimes almost no noses at all? Sometimes you hafta squint to even see the little dashes that have become the noses. Like in Mermaid Melody P.P.P.

Yeah, you're right. All cartoons should look like anime and have huge eyes and exaggerated facial expressions. In fact, all visual art should follow certain guidelines or it's ugly.

So what's your point? you can't force people to like anime. I watch anime and western animation for the stories, but I tend to relate to Western animation more because I can relate to the culture.
I don't like the whole big eye thing myself, I like to see characters with regular human shapes like on King of the Hill.
I just don't watch anime that much because most of it I see are usually the generic same boring story. Magic girls, high school drama, sword carrying characters with big hair, etc.
I want to to watch the good unique stuff! :)

my friend hates anime he keeps saying that they look ugly and he keeps saying "whats with there eyes? no one has eyes like that its stupid" but cartton is worse first of all they don't even have like the whole eye lol cus its seems like most of the time there eyes are part of ther skin they have no eyeballs they just have pupils that's even gayer than anything i ever see in my life and there gay *** 3 fingers WATS that all about who cant Tell the diff between the marriage finger and the middle finger?????
