Superman. In just a straight, flat-out foot race, it might be close, but Superman is also able to fly. The time that it takes for each foot to hit the ground will slow down The Flash enough that Superman's longer leaps will put him in the lead.
You and your boyfriend must have a cool relationship if you can make bets on stuff like this. What does the winner get???
They did that in a cartoon but I think it ended up a tie because (of course) they had to fight bad guys and save people on the way. In my opinion it would be The Flash.

It depends on the race. If it's a flat straight race, I think that the Flash would be faster. However, point to point over hills and curves and such Superman can fly and avoid all of those problems.

the flash is, if u noticed in the show when they were racing he was slightly ahead of superman. besides speed is his specialty.
It was in cartoon network..Justice League Unlimited...Super man and Flash raced....superman was even flying but flash still won...Flash is defintely faster...NO doubt he's soo fast he even messed up time once...So in conclusion Flash is faster than superman By a little bit

Superman is more focused on strength, flying abilities, and X-ray vision. Flash is specialized on his super-human speed and is able to walk on water and vertically. I would like to see Superman do that!
The Flash, hands down. Superman in his current incarnation is pretty quick, but nowhere near his pre-crisis days. The Flash, on the other hand, is literally the "Fastest Man Alive". Barry Allen (I believe he's the current Flash again, but the same applies to Bart and Wally West) receives his powers from the Speed Force, a poorly defined realm which seems to be the source of all meta human speedsters. Barry, in fact, has been one with said force, basically soaking up power from it since the aforementioned crisis. As of my last Flash reading, he was fast enough to break the time barrier, which in the DCU, is just after the speed of light. Superman hasn't been able to do that since John Byrne reinvented him in '86. Even recently, in the Superman/Legion of Superheroes cross over Superman had to use a time bubble to reach the 30th century, thereby showing that he couldn't do so under his own power, even to help his friends in their dire situation.
In conclusion, Superman may be quick like a bunny, but Flash is swift like ninja.
well, question was play out in the comic books so long ago. The other super heroes debate this among themselves to it reach a point they were just about to fight among themselves. So, Superman and Flash was call in to settle the argument who is the fastest man alive. The weird or funny thing about this question that even the bad guys got into it as well. The bookies in Las Vegas got in on the action by takes bets.
All the crooks agree not to commit any crime during the race with the exception of the penny thieves. There were times that Flash was ahead and then Superman. This went back and forth throughout the entire race. In the end both super hero end up in a tied. I give the edge to Flash.
If you watch smallville where Clark and young flash was racing. That Clark got dusted by him.
