As a native Texan, I don't know a lot of people who watch "King of the Hill."
Urbanized Texans don't have accents. We don't have tumble weeds in Dallas (at least we didn't when I lived there last year, up until I moved I lived there my whole life), most of us have never ridden/rode a horse, there are hardly any trees around there, and I never wear cowboy boots, like most normal, noncowboy people. I believe they live in Arland, based off real life Garland, Texas, a mostly poorer Dallas suburb, though it has it's rich neighborhoods.
Just to clear a few things up... I do like King of the Hill though. It is funny and has a lot of good messages.

I think it's entertaining. I know my brothers sure like it.
it's cool i watch it sometimes it's kinda funny how cartoon things relate to real life problems... is this even a question??
and no i don't think all texans like King of The Hill... it's not all about living in texas...
