This is kind of vague because the answers the first two people before me have given refer to the bombs Deidara planted, but I thought you were asking about the HUGE explosion Deidara lets off and eventually dies under. Do you mean the minefield scene in the beginning when Deidara planted bombs in the ground or when he blows himself up and dies but Sasuke survives?
If you meant survivng the mines Deidara planted, Sasuke survived it by first sticking his katana into the ground to test for mines. When there were no explosions, he jumped onto the sword and enabled his chidori nagashi through the katana and onto the ground, neutralizing all the mines in the area. Note that he was able to do this because electricity-type chakra beats earth-type chakra.
If you were asking how Sasuke survived the HUGE bombs, he did it by summoning Manda (Orochimaru's great, big snake) and putting Manda under a genjutsu because Sasuke knew that Manda would immediately leave once he knew that the explosion would occur. Under the influence of the genjutsu, Manda stays; and basically, Sasuke shelters and hides himself in Manda's mouth to escape the full impact of Deidara's explosions. Therefore, Sasuke survives the bomb, but Manda and Deidara die.
