No, there is not going to be a 5th Inuyasha movie. All animated production of Inuyasha has been halted. The manga is still v ery popular, but the anime has lost so many fans that they scrapped the project, including movies and OVAs. Rumors are planted by fans, but there are no plans to make a 5th movie!
YES! THERE IS GOING TH BE A 5th MOVIE! I COULDNT BELIEVE IT! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! I LOVE INUYASHA!
I really don't think there's going to be one. The staff who is resonsible for creating the Inuyasha movies have stated publicly in multiple news articles and interviews that there are CURRENTLY NO PLANS to create a 5th movie.
This is the most updated thing I found and unfortunately references to no plans of a fifth movie!
