Why does Abarai Renji always start with bankai?!
Question: I mean, shouldn't he use shikai and then bankai when he is fighting? I think that it's pretty stupid to go all out in when the fighting has only just begun. If I were him, I would see what my oppositon's weaknesses are first. Then, if I have to, I would go all out with my bankai.

yeah... i think thats just how he is.. impatient and strait forward... esp if he's in a hurry... its seems he does this alot more in the arrancar arc than any other though
he does not always use banka does he? his banki is the extendible dragon. ok? not the metal extendibale. ewhich i have only seen 1 through 52 episodes.
i agree he uses bankai too fast and he hasnt even perfected it yet.
well practice make perfect guys. plus he can sense the reitsu and he responses with his power. so he knows whether his shiaki or ban ki is appropriate for the task at hand.
I have noticed that he starts using his bankai a lot when the filler episodes started (the arc with the bounto). The fillers weren't in the original manga, and as the anime producers can't invent anything new that isn't in the manga and would upset the continuing manga story later on, you see the characters use the same techniques (that have already been establish in the Soul Society arc) over and over. I think it's a combination of this, plus the bad production of fillers, that made them have Renji whip out his bankai to swat a fly. When the actual Arrancar arc starts, the story in the manga is suppose to intensify and you see more people using their bankai more often as they are pushed by the gradually strengthening power of the Arrancar. But by this point, we already saw Renji use his bankai too many times in the filler that it just gets bland. I think the effectiveness of bankai appearing would be much more if they hadn't had the fillers.
