Wouldn't mind a few good anime/manga suggestions...?!

Question: I'm not much of a TV fan, though, so whatever anime it is has to be good enough to keep me glued to the screen. If it doesn't, I lose interest and read or go online or something. With manga, however, I don't have that problem.

Anime I love:
Yami no Matsuei
Mirage of Blaze
Sorcerer Hunters
Argento Soma
Tokyo Babylon
RG Veda
Berserk
Kyo Kara Maoh
Fake
Elf Princess Rayne
Shounen Onmyoji

Anime I started but lost interest in:
Psychic Academy
Escaflowne
X
Kizuna
Fruits Basket
Vampire Princess Miyu
Spirit Warrior
Utena

As for manga, I'm not picky. I'll read about anything that has a good story and interesting characters. Since my personal collection numbers near 300 and I've read many more than that, I'm not going to list them all, but my favorites at the moment are After School Nightmare and Rebirth.

And I luff shounen-ai and shoujo-ai. ^^ And bishounen. <3

Please don't suggest something insanely popular. I tend to not like those. And DO NOT suggest anything that EVER aired on Toonami or Adult Swim!

Also, if I lost interest in an anime, it doesn't mean I didn't like it or didn't find it interesting. I mean, some of them on that list I obsessively collect/read the manga for. I'm just weird. XP

~Red River~
is about a fifteen-year old Japanese girl named Yuri Suzuki, who is magically transported to Hattusa, the capital of the
Hittite Empire in Anatolia. She was summoned by Queen Nakia who means to use Yuri as a human sacrifice. Yuri's blood is the key element needed in placing a curse upon the princes of the land so that they will perish, leaving Nakia's son as the sole heir to the throne.

~The Wallflower~
is about Sunako Nakahara, a girl who was called "ugly" by a boy, the first and only person to whom she confessed her love. This incident sparks a life change, and as a result Sunako shuns all forms of beauty, both in herself as well as in life. Concerned by her change for the worst, Sunako's aunt, the owner of a beautiful mansion where four very handsome students live, offers the guys free rent in her mansion if they can turn Sunako into a "perfect lady" (referred to in Japan as the titular Yamato Nadeshiko).

~Desire Climax ~
Omari Mio is a normal 17 year-old girl. She goes to school and works a part-time job to help support her family. Because her father is dead and her mother's sick, she often finds it hard to make ends meet.
One night, as Mio is coming home from work, she meets a handsome stranger who suddenly steals a kiss from her, and then throws money at her offering to buy her. Who is this mysterious stranger that stole Mio's first kiss?

~Kiddy Grade~
The story takes place in a future where the human race has expanded and inhabits a multitude of planets in the universe with fantastic technology. Unsurprisingly, crime has grown alongside technology, and thus the GOTT, Galactic Organization of Trade and Tariffs, is formed as a sort of universal police force. Within this organization, there is a special (and secret) branch known as the ES Force (ES standing for "Encounter of Shadow-work"), consisting of twelve young people that possess amazing superpowers. Each ES member operates with another as a team, and the series' focus is a team of two low-level members, éclair and Lumière. As the series progresses, they start to see the darker side of GOTT and its secrets.

~Kannazuki no Miko~
the story of Himeko and Chikane, the reincarnations of the Solar and Lunar Miko, respectively. They are two high school girls going to the prestigious Ototachibana Academy of Mahoroba, Japan. When an ancient evil rises once more, the girls are plunged into destiny as their long-sealed personas awaken to defend the world against the Orochi. When the Orochi awaken, it is the first day of October (the godless month), which just happens to be Himeko and Chikane's birthday. The first Orochi who tries to kill the Miko is Sōma ōgami, the boy in love with Himeko. However, after a blinding flash of light brings him to his senses, he rejects his fate and vows to defend Himeko against the other Orochi. The Miko must awaken Ame no Murakumo in order to combat the threat while Sōma repels the Orochi efforts to kill them.

~Peach Girl~
a high school drama centered on Momo Adachi. A member of the swim team, Momo tans easily and her hair is bleached out; unfortunately, she is stereotyped as a ganguro girl by her ignorant classmates, and is forced to endure rumors about being a beach bunny and a ****. Her only friend is Sae, who is actually responsible for spreading the nasty gossip. Momo is in love with Toji, a taciturn baseball player, but the scheming Sae also has her eye on the boy. Momo's life is further complicated with the introduction of Kairi Okayasu, a wise-cracking playboy who is determined to make her his because she had saved him from drowning the summer before high school started.

~Gakuen Heaven~
Ito Keita receives a letter of admission from Bell Liberty Academy, a prestigious all-boy's school that only accepts the cream of the crop. Though he doubts his ability to succeed at such a school because he is a transfer student coming in the middle of the year, and he has no special ability that he can speak of, he accepts the admission. Keita is picked up by Niwa, the president of the student council, and from then on, he is warmly welcomed by everyone to BL Academy.
Keita's first actual friend is Endo Kazuki, who immediately takes Keita under his wing and takes care of him to the extent that Keita laughingly dubs him "grandmother." The two of them become a steadfast pair, but in the days that Kazuki is not around, Keita has no trouble finding other company among the other students.

~Guardian of the Sacred Spirit~my favorite is very very good!
Balsa the spearwoman is a wandering warrior, who takes on the task of saving lives in atonement for a past sin. On her journey, she happens to save a prince and is tasked with becoming his bodyguard. And he is going to need one, for his own father, the emperor, wants him dead.

NARUTO!!!!!!!!!! DEATH NOTE!!!! BLOOD!!!

I think you may try to find these manga. I bet it will be a different style from your list.

For a bit of romance :
Rose.
Nice summer.

For a bit of drama:
Sabbath cafe.

Drama and action:
Mr. Keaton.

Mystery, a bit dark and I think its having something with
Revelation Antichrist thing involved. I haven't finished reading this one:
Monster.

These are unique manga I could find in a heap of manga I read. There are few others like Ashura, Kenji, Shoot, etc. But in my opinion above list just beat the other.

anime
-----------------

fate stay night (has not been aired on toonimi or adult swim, i watched the jap verision)
Marchen Awakens Romance (ok this has been aired on toonami but it only got to like epiosode 20, i watch this its amazing)

manga
----------------
+ Anima (this is my all time favorite)

I have not heard of any of the mangas you've read except for Fruits Basket (which I recommend you might want to take up again), Beserk, and Psychic Academy, but I'll offer you what I love.

Some of my favorite shojo mangas include Fruits Basket, Shinshi Doumei Cross (also known as the Gentleman's Alliance Cross), Full Moon wo Sagashite, Ouran High School Host Club, and Vampire Knight.
I don't like Absolute Boyfriend, Skip Beat, Special A, or High School Debut, but you might like to try them.

My favorite shonen mangas are Bleach, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, D. Grayman, and Full Metal Alchemist. Death Note was pretty good up until the 7th volume, where it got really boring, but it's worth a try. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is by far my most favorite anime yet. It's sorta mecha (not talking robots or anything), with lots of action and some romance on the side, but I still loved it and cried at the end.

Eyeshield 21 and Prince of Tennis are good sports manga, if you wanna take a look at those.

Hope this helps :)
