Yes, they did. The players also had goofy "superpowers". One could change his body into a spaghetti like form, one could fly, etc. I can't remember them all, but there was a Harlem Globetrotters cartoon, and, again, each player had a goofy superpower. They also made guest appearances (as themselves) on Scooby-Doo, back when they had Mellow Yark Lemon. YOU are RIGHT. Your husband is wrong....(make sure you rub it in!)

They made Scooby Doo episodes that were about an hour long with celebrities in them. They definitely had a couple with the Harlem Globetrotters. They also had one with Sonny and Cher and Davy Jones from the Monkees. I'm not sure if the Globetrotters had their own cartoon or not. It wouldn't surprise me if they did.
