How does the story line of dragonball turn into dragonball Z?!
Question: Ive just finished the dragonball series and I'm onto the dragonball Z series but what I do not get is: is the episode 1 of dragonball Z the next part of the story line or am i ment to watch a certain movie? It looks like i have missed an episode or two when i start dragonball Z so am i ment to watch a dragonball Z movie? if not what happend inbetween episode 153 dragonball and episode 1 dragonball Z

the movies have NOTHING to do with the series. It'll confuse you even more if you think the movies follow the storyline. Don't worry, everything gets explained eventually.
Don′t worry you don′t have to see a movie, it just has passed 5 years, gohan is a kid, and goku and milk are living a paceful life.....
153 is the last ep of dragonball and the story continues with the first ep of dbz i think 5 years past in the anime betwen the 2 episods
