gundam 00-currently ongoing(first gundam to be made in HD quality)
neon genesis evangelion-psychological, mecha genre-story is quite complex and hard to understand, but onceu do comprehend it, it has an awesome plotline, it has also influenced the mecha genre heavily and that are some animes that have been made based on evangelion like RahXephon

anime - i guess that 1's pretty good. but they cut out
all the intensity because it was originally created 4

the manga rocks! it has all the intense parts)
3. kamichama karin (its awsome! this 1 might start
out slow 2 but it gets sooooo good and its really
original, new, and totaly awsome!)
4. tsubasa chronicles (this 1 is kinda a shojo/shonen
anime. there is a bit of romance, but there's alot of
action and mystery.)
5. inuyasha (this is an awsome anime/manga. this 1
too is a little shojo/shonnen. but its pretty good.
there's 4 movies 2!)

Romantic comedy: Nodame Cantabile
Egotistical students at a prestigious music academy want to live their dream of becoming professional musicians, no matter what it takes! Beautiful classical music, slapstick humor, intense characters, very realistic and satisfying relationships.
