Superman comics?!

Question: funeral for a friend worth any money? the whole set 1-9

Answers: funeral for a friend worth any money? the whole set 1-9

Not really. As much as it was hyped when the whole event happened it had such a large print run that it was overproduced and therefore took the future resell value down. That, plus the printing of the set in trade form also effects price of the single issues. Depending on the condition, creases, wrinkles, etc you may get $2.50-$3.00 out of each.
You can look here for the various condition prices. http://www.comicspriceguide.com/default....

Unfortunatley, it's not going to put your kids through college. These comics had a very big print run, which in turns decreases the future value. Basically the more of an issue that is out there, the less rare it is and the less it's worth in the comic book market. I would even venture to say that you could find most, if not all of those issue in your local comic book dealer's dollar bin.
But just to say I gave you a concrete answer, according to the newest Overstreet Comic Guide, each issue would net you about $2.50 each as long as they are in perfect condition.
