I really don't think the two careers would be compatable, since many physicians work up to eighty hours a wee; clearly, you wouldn't have time to have anything to do with comics during an internship and medical school would be likely to force you to curtail any comics work.. I'd advise you to choose one or the other; since you appear to be materialistic, you should probably go with a career in medicine; a doctor is going to make far more money than a freelancer in comics.
it depends on your drawings, the story plot, and how good of a job you do at getting it started... as for money.... i don't know. most drawers do it just for fun... so why worry about money?
