I'm not an Otaku, because I don't watch much anime or other stuff... But I'll claim my title soon enough!!

Yes, i am. but fanboy/fangirl has negative connotations though. it can mean as someone who delves himself too much in mangas that he/she has no life.

i love animes and read lots of mangas, but i have a full life. anything done in excess is bad. enjoy anime and manga! ganbatte!

I've heard somebody call me that, but I didn't like the sound of it much. I am simply addicted, or in some cases, the less severe degree of "obsessed". I like anime and manga, but sometimes I favor the anime because 1) it's in color and 2) all the action is taking place right there, you don't have to imagine it!
For example, I am "addicted" to InuYasha. I am "obsessed" with Death Note. I can live without death Note, but not without my InuYasha. The same goes fro Fullmetal Alchemist.

i'm almost an otaku becuz i've seen more than 30 animes before but not really obsess with the other ones. the animes i really like are naruto, bleach,etc. I'm basically a fan of animes. I draw them too but not all the time.

Hmm...I'm a fan, but I'm not obsessed...at least I don't think so >.<. If I think about it, I haven't actually seen alot of anime or read alot of manga...I read shounen-ai manga...that's coz I'm a...*coughshounen-ai/yaoifangirlcough*

I'm a Sasuke *coughfangirlcough* too...*chokes from so much coughing*..I think the word otaku sounds kewler than Fangirl/boy lol =P
lol I wish more people I know, would start watching anime, but most of them have never heard of it, I got one friend to read Death Note though and another to watch Naruto yessssssssssss(sayssss Orochimaru...gyack not really) =D
I have alotta small Sasuke and Naruto ornaments/keyrings etc and a Naruto plushie with a yellow tennisball shaped head XD
I Love anime/manga, I don't know what I'd do without it...actually it'd probably be...*gasp-eth*...Homework...O_O
