Yes,I agree that VIZ shoul skip the fillers as that they have no connection to the original story/plot. One of the reason why they are going to show them is because they want to make a lot of Shippuden episodes,so when Shippuden does come to the U.S. they have something to show. Although I think they should skip them I don't mine watching them,but I am a little disappointed in that we have to wait another couple of years to see Shippuden in the U.S.

I don't think they will, and they shouldn't.....I mean if you like naruto , you should also enjoy watching the fillers.....
however I must agree that shippuuden is much better .....and I hope they'll catch up with the manga soon
let's think of it this way. they are a company and they don't really care if the episodes are in the manga or not. they are showing naruto because it is popular and because they can net a huge amount from advertising and from merchandise products from it. so business logic would suggest that they must show the fillers.
its a pretty good bet that they will show the fillers. some of them are good but it got pretty annoying after a while :/ So we will have to suffer thru it
I doubt they will! They usually buy the whole pack, but if you don't want to watch the fillers just skip to the shipuuden series. You can find it fansubbed everywhere. I did not have the patience to watch the fillers so I just skiped to the shipuuden series.
I think they will buy the fillers as well because there are many fans out there who want see everything Naruto related so they won't have a problem with low audience.
The problem with the shipuuden series is that it now seems like a filler as well. They made those 80 filler episodes so that they won't catch up with the manga series and still lately you can find more action in one manga chapter than in one naruto episode! I'm rather disappointed with the last 3 episodes from Naruto. You could resume all that happened in the last 3 episodes in a single one! They just drag on showing the same scene from each character's point of view and there's a big gap between the lines, like they have a hard time taking in what the other one said! On the other hand, these last manga chapters have been action packed and I can hardly wait for the next issue to be out!
They are not because there is only 44 Shippuuden episodes show they going to show it so there will be a lot more episode in the future.
