Did naruto let the kyubi take control of him on purpose or cant he control that !

Question: Well yes and no. The Nine-Tailed Fox is usually appears when Naruto is very upset/angry at a certain point he will start to release the Nine-Tailed Fox. Naruto can release up t 4 tails, but he can only control up to 3 as of right now. The more Naruto gets upset the faster te tails will appear. Once Naruto hits the 4th tail he will then completely lose control of him self. In this state Naruto can't tell the difference between friend or fe. Also under the 4th tail not only Naruto's power increase dramatically, but his outward apperacne also change to what is looks like to be a miniature Nine-Tailed Fox. The cloak's that covers Nine-Tailed Fox is really shielding him,but actually hurting, because of the intense chakra.

Naruto Rocks!!!!!

He can't control the power of 4 tails so it means he knew what he's doing when he has only 1-3 tails. When he gets angry the tail comes out but when it's 4 tails he can't control it anymore.

he can only control up to 3 of the cloaks stages and when he gets to the 4th tail he loses control of himself and the kyubi takes over

Naruto only has control of the first three tails, and even then he has to fight for it. The fourth tail is when he completely loses control of himself and the Kyuubi take over. He can't really control when and where the tails will appear either. It's more linked to his emotions than anything, so if he gets upset enough the tails will begin to appear. So no, he didn't allow the Kyuubi to take over on purpose. His determination to save Sasuke caused him to lose control of his emotions when it came to fighting Orochimaru.
