i dont watch anime movies, but i have seen princess monoke and Akira and they were alright. i liked the feudal setting of princess and i just loved the future setting of akira
The best anime movie is Karas: the prophecy and Karas: the revelation. Then Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle and all of them. :)

i like allof the naruto movies, samurai x, and spirited away
Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. Partly because it has Kakashi in it and partly because the only other anime movie I've seen was the Fullmetal Alchemist one, and I didn't really like it.
the one that really took me away is spirited away. i have watched it 10 times already, i really like it.^^
i also like castle from the sky, it was amazing, has a resemblance from one of favorite anime series, elemetal gelade. i love when characters go on an exciting adventure.
my personal favorite is princess mononoke for great storytelling.

Although they are all amazing, I would say the best are Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, and Bleach: Memories of Nobody.
Story wise, the best is Princess Mononoke. For quality of animation, Spirited Away.
