its not just some cheesy romance anime! it has an awesome plot!! you really grow on the characters and their situations!!!i i usually hate girls in animes... (most)... unless they were that "kick @ss" type.... but i made an exeption for tohru cuz she is soooo adorable!! shes also very brave!!

i agree with blehheh.. it's definitely worth watching! lots of humor, and the story is just so....i can't explain it.. many people said that Fruits Basket Manga is very beautiful and 'worth reading', as in better thatn the anime.. but i don't read manga so i'm better with the anime..o^^o

It's a whole heap of genre's rolle dinto one! Comedy, romance, action, mystery, adventure, philosophical & so much more!
The character's are interesting and I'm sure you can relate to one or two of them personally, esp the zodiac characters.
Tohru, the herione of the show is awesome! She's the sort of protagonist that makes you feel annoyed by her naivity but also you feel as if you're in her shoes, in the experiences and issues she faces and as she learns, feels, you do to!

Are you kidding? It's one of the best anime around. Just watch it for the plenty of character developments, compelling storyline, humourous antics and dialogues of the characters and lessons about slices of life that we can certainly learn from.
well it's only 26 episodes and seems kind of incomplete but its definitely a good laugh. though if you want a more complete story just read the manga.
If it were a rainy day and nothing eles to do then watch it.
