Name the best anime you can think of?!
Question: I have some spare time to kill, and want to kill it by watching some anime. I pretty much like all kinds.
action/advnture/mystery/romance/comedy and what ever else.
but i hate horror.
any who. I have one i was watching but forgot the name and cant find it now.
There was a white dude and a black dude. They were punks at the start but saw that they were weak compared to the others fighters at the martial arts school.
Theres a girl who can see into the future or the past about any one, a girl who looks like a kid but can change her size.
the dude i was talking about earlier has yellow hair thats spiked up and i guess you could say it parts at the top like a V or something.
lol, I know what i just said didnt make much, but hopefuly some one will get it. Well weither you get it or not, please list some more good anime that matches the types that I said I liked.

Naruto - Ninjas. If you don't know what its about by now.. well, you've been under a rock. Good series, very action oriented.
Bleach - Teenage boy who becomes imbued with the powers to a 'Shinigami'. Good storyline, nice fights.
Death Note - High school student finds notebook that allows him to kill people. Very, very good series... psychological. One of the best.
D.Gray-man - Exorcists. Good series.
DNAngel - Interesting, awkward boy with a legendary thief inside him... cute story.
FullMetal Alchemist - Another 'you either know or you've been under a rock' ones... intelligent story, good characters, emotional.
These are just a few, good, easy-to-get series. Hopefully the little infor I gave will help you decide better.
Naruto is pretty good, and many ppl watch it

How can all of you name all of these awesome animes and NOT name my favorite of all time, InuYasha?!
InuYasha is one of the "under a rock" animes, to quote a previous answerer. It's about a half-demon named InuYasha who had a spell cast upon him to sleep forever. However, the spell ended up being broken by the reincarnation of the same priestess who put it on him, 50 years later. Her name is Kagome. InuYasha immediately goes on a quest to collect all of the pieces of the mystical Shikon Jewel that was accidentally shattered, so he can become a full demon. Along the way Shippo, the demon fox child, Miroku, the pervert priest, and Sango, the demon slayer, become part of their crew. Later, the primary objective is to destroy Naraku, who we find out is behind the woes of almost everyone in the story.
(BTW: My favorite character is none of these, but is instead InuYasha's elder half-brother, a full demon named Sesshoumaru. He's sooooo hot, and his tale unfolds thruout the anime.)
Another great anime is FullMetal Alchemist. It's about two brothers, Edward (the older one) and Alphonse Elric. They are also on a quest, to find the Sorcerer's stone. (If this sounds familiar, yes, it's the same namesake of the first Harry Potter book.) They want to use the stone to make their bodies whole again, because of some alchemy gone wrong. (In this anime, alchemy is common, more of a talent.) Because of it, Ed has an artificial (but fully automatic) right arm and left leg, and Alphonse's body was totally lost. It became encased in a suit of armor. My second favorite anime.
A third great anime is a short one called Samurai Deeper Kyo.
There are two men named Kyoshiro and Kyo. They are the world's greatest swordsmen, and are currently having a duel in the middle of a battlefield. All around them are the sounds of war from the Battle of Sekigahara. Suddenly, a strange comet comes from the sky right at them, and Kyo and Kyoshiro vanish.
Four years later, Kyoshiro is found, but with severe amnesia. A woman named Yuya Shiina captures Kyoshiro to turn him in for a small bounty; it is soon revealed that Kyo's soul was locked inside Kyoshiro when the comet hit them! Kyo then takes over Kyo's body. Kyo (also known as Demon Eyes Kyo because of his scarlet eyes and reputation as Killer of a Thousand Men) then goes on a search for his own body. Along the way, (Yuya decides to follow him for some reason) they pick up Yukimora Sonata, (My fave character next to Kyo. He is always smiling, although inside he's a fierce warrior. Oh, and he REALLY likes his sake! lol) Sasuke, (Yukimora's young assistant) and Benitora, a humorous young man with a hidden past.
(BTW: Talk about awesome. You should see Kyo BEFORE he was in Kyoshiro's body; he had long red hair!)
Another great anime is called Death Note. It's awesomeness is beyond my power to descrie; maybe Wikipedia (Wiki Forever!!!) can explain it better than I.
