I highly suggest watching Naruto. Naruto in my opinion is one of the best anime/manga ever so far. I defiantly think is has lived up to the hype about it. The show has a interesting plot with very good art and charter drawing. The show includes action/comedy/romance and drama Here what the show is about. It is about a boy named Naruto who is an orphan and has a demon spirt fox in him that was put there when he was born. Later on Naruto finds friends that like him of who he is. He has made a decision be become the greatest ninja in his village (the village hidden in the leaves), he wants to become hokage, but in order to do that he must train like he never has before as well has battle through missions and interesting foes with his friends and learning new moves/jutsu (speail fighting moves) and marial arts. In between all this there are relationships between charcaters. Naruto is defiantly a series/show/manga that defiantly worth getting into and is one good epic story.

Twelve years before the events at the focus of the series, the nine-tailed demon fox attacked Konohagakure. It was a powerful demon indeed; a single swing of one of its nine tails would raise tsunamis and flatten mountains. It raised chaos and slaughtered many people, until the leader of the Leaf Village – the Fourth Hokage – defeated it by sacrificing his own life to seal the demon inside a newly-born child, whose origins are as yet unknown. That child's name was Naruto Uzumaki. The Fourth Hokage was celebrated as a hero for sealing the demon fox away. He wanted Naruto to be respected in a similar light by being the containment vessel for the demon fox. The village he grew up in, however, mostly shunned Naruto; they regarded him as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood. A decree made by the Third Hokage made it so that the other villagers were forbidden to mention the event to anyone, even to their own children. However, this did not stop them from treating Naruto like an outcast. Although their children did not specifically know why their parents treated Naruto the way they did, they learned through example to despise the boy. As a result, Naruto grew up as an orphan in a lonesome atmosphere without friends, family, or acknowledgment.
All in all it has everything you could want out of anime/manga including action/romance/drama/and comdy.

Mermaid Melody: The Pink Pearl Mermaid Princess Luchia must go to the human world to find her sacred pearl she gave to a boy she met 7 years ago. After getting her pearl back Luchia joins forces with 2 other Mermaid Princesses Hanon & Lina. Hanon, Lina, and Luchia must use their sacred pearls to transform into idols and sing their songs to destroy the evil Gaito & the Dark Lovers.
Tokyo Mew Mew: 5 ordinary girls get infused with the DNA of 5 endangered animals. They must use their new powers to defend the Earth from the aliens that are trying to take Earth as their own.

"Wish" it is the best by Clamp. It is romantic/comedy/small-action.
The story line/plot is GREAT! If you like "Fruits Basket" you'll love "Wish".

I for one enjoy comedy/love and maybe some actions too so enjoy
so for comedy/romance
1- Ranma 1/2- guy who turns girl when dunk in cold water and is kinda forced to marry this girl whom guy's father agreed with another father to marry the other father's daughter (martial art is focused a bit) (kinda old)
2- Kare Kano- A love between perfect and smart guy and girl who strives for perfection until they meet each other and we see a bit of their not perfect selves as they love one another
(the guy and girl are students in a high school)
3- Girl Got Game- A girl who was tricked by her father in going in to a school as a guy! because her father wanted her to play in the men's basketball team. The girl meets a guy basketball player and falls in love with him but the guy thinks the girl is a guy until... some "proof was made" (i recommend this one) (its manga)
4- Love Hina- A guy who strives to go to Tokyo University but fails at least 3 times to get in and lives in an all girl apartment building where he sooner or later falls in love with a girl in the all girls apartments. The guy lives in the apartments because his relatives own it so he is the manager who the relative is on vacation.
5- School Rumble- there are two main characters which one is a girl while the other is a guy. this is confusing when i say it... the main chrt. girl loves another guy while the main chrt. boy loves the main chrt. girl and the another guy has a love for curry. (more comedy than love)
action/romance
1- Shakugan no shana- romance is not detected at first but later one it is.... there is two seasons now the other one has a "II" at the end of the title
2- Tsubasa- from clamp and is the best especially, if u kno the stories of the other clamp stories like Chobits, Cardcaptors, Angelic Layer because u see them in it a bit and the main story is that a boy tries to save a princess who seem to lost her memories by collecting feathers of her memory by going through different dimension and looking for it. (i recommend this but i have not seen the anime yet but i read the manga)
true romance/love
1- Ai Yori Aoshi- A love of a guy and girl since childhood in an indirect way until the guy left and the girl went to search for him later around their college age... and they soon fall in love and some obstacles go in their way of their love (2nd season has an "Enishi" at the end of the title.
2- Fruit Basket- A girl finds a family who is cursed of the zodiac and the girl heals the family with her kindness and some guys like her. (hard to explain)
action/comedy/romance
1-Full Metal Panic (1st season)-kinda boring but some romance at the end
-Full Metal Panic Fumoffu (2nd season)- really funny and some romance detected
-Full Metal Panic- The Second Raid (3rd season)- not much funny as serious action.... detect even more romance at times
random/funny
-Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya- random anime of a girl who apparently is like a god but does not kno it.... hard to explain but many people love it....
-Lucky star- random anime that i just started which is pretty interesting and funny in a interesting way... should at least check this one out....it also shows some relation to other animes...
-Ouran High School Host Club- anime i just started on and is very good so far... about how a "girl" broke something in a men's club and she has to pay it back by working there while the men does not kno that she was a girl until later
If you liked Ghost Hunt, I highly suggest you watch Mushishi ^^ (it's my favorite anime).

Other anime I recommend are Eureka Seven, Darker than Black, Code Geass: Lelouche of the Rebellion, and Elfen Lied.
