Why does naruto have wind chakra it sucks it would be cool if he had water . how!

I think they gave him Wind Elemental Chakra, because he is the young version of his teacher, Jiraiya, (Like Sakura is Tsunade, and Sausuke is Orochimaru.) who i can only assume is also a Wind Elemental user because of the Rasengan,
More importantly, with Naruto as a Wind, and Sausuke as a Lightning, the Elemental strengths/ weakness wheel the brought up in an episode, (Linked below.) comes into play. In the wheel, Wind is strong against Lightning for whatever reason. So for their eventual final battle, Naruto will have this as one advantage.
Wind is so much cooler! If Naruto had water, than he would be from the mist village, (Which sucks because of their civil wars, also he would probably be gone by now if he took the mist villages exam...)
he does have second element which is water
but rasengan is a wind element attack thats why hes a wind chakra and he can also use water chakra too
i wanted him to have fire thn he could toast sasuke for a change but wind works well too i suppose
fires pretty cool but the wind element is tite. if hed have water hed look kinda retarded
All Jounin has 2 or more elements. Naruto has only one right now but the wind element goes with the Rasengan. I think Sasuke has two elements. Fire ~ Fire Ball Jutus and Lighting ~ Chidori
it would be cool if he could have both.
So far, only Lightning and Wind have been shown to be worth anything.

well since naruto mom was water and his dad is lighting so together they make a storm so they make "wind"
and naruto is weak to fire kakashi evently warns naruto to watch for sasukes fire attacks, and he is stong against lightning and thus thats why naruto beats sasukes chridori"probably spelled this wrong"

Well, Naruto is *unique*. As of now, he is the only one with the Wind-type chakra in Konoha (since Asuma died T_T). Besides, wind is the most ubiquitous element and it's perfect for Naruto's character. :D
