Rocket J. Squirrel wears his classic aviators helmet purely as a fashion statement although he does occasionally use the goggles to ease his unusually sensitive eyes.
Rocky is a good aviator because he's smart. the others? Not a good choice. All aviators wear one.
He only wears it because it makes him look sooooo cool!
