naruto is one of the best anime ive ever seen..another one is hunter x hunter.
Far from it; I have seen many other Nippon Anime programs which are far better. In America, Naruto has lucked out and has become a fad, a limited fad but a fad nonetheless.
Generally, there is one hot cartoon series which acquires a large following in the States (but not much of an audience by Japanese standards), despite its quality. Past examples are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Yu Gi Oh, and now it is Naruto's turn.
This time next year, something else will have replaced Naruto as the leading cartoon fad, perhaps even an American product.

nope, i mean its pretty cool but i think its a little overrated. all that nonstop winning and losing and winning and losing can get annoying especially when there are no advances in the plot(i used to feel like i was in filler hell half the time i watched naruto) but there are some neat characters like deidara, sasori and rock lee. Other people though like jiraiya, sasuke, sakura, tsunade, and even naruto i feel like ive seen in a million other animes. Naruto is okay if you want action i think but not much depth(yes there is some stuff about naruto's family or whatever but thats about it)
Then again maybe i just cant stand when a bunch of people fandom over the same thing like what is popular with naruto><
I love Naruto and all, but the animators are skimping out on the animation for the Shippuuden series lately. I still watch the subs for Shippuuden even though I'm already way ahead of that in the manga.

Personally, the answer is no. We all have our own animes which are very endearing to our hearts. I think we all just need to respect each other's opinions and likes/dislikes.
