Why do some Naruto characters wear fishnets?!

Fishnets are handy like silks is to Samurai. It can be made very strong and durable. Thats why Shizune and other charcters have it. And yes... it looks pretty damn cool! Lol.

    There not fishnests it just somesort of undershirt in their world.
    i dont think there is really any use for them..
    they cant keep their kunai or anything in them, they would deff. rip.

    yes its only fashon, and i guess the characters seemed liek the type to wear fishnets!!
    I'm sure it's a fashion thing on the show, as well as in real life. Fishnets don't have a purpose except to look cool (and make one feel a little less naked.)

    I guess just how the creator drew them sometime its for fashion sometime. Like Anko for example looks like she is wearing a fishnets,but it actually is a metal mesh to protect her from weapons.
