Best anime i have seen yet is hard toss up Maburaho Funny, Magic Girls, Action filled. Smart. Check it out if you can find it.
I'd have to say mine would be Inuyasha. It really is just so...traditional. The humor is funny, Inuyasha himself is such a laugh! I mean, who couldn't love a two-timing, selfish, funny jerk? Not only that, but the plot itself is quite interesting.
